About the event
Prepare for your new year with an evening of relaxation and reflection. Guided by yoga therapist Lauren Mason, allow yourself to drift into deep relaxation that will help you to cleanse physically and energetically, preparing for a new year with a fresh perspective. We'll begin this practice with a gentle practice known as yin yoga, where supported poses are held for awhile to allow the body to slowly unwind and relax. Then, Lauren will guide you through a special form of meditation known as yoga nidra, designed to help you reflect on and process the year and prepare for the next in a relaxed and peaceful way.
Tune in and practice from home for this practice. All you need is some comfortable clothing and some items to help support you in the poses. Blankets, pillows, and towels are all useful to make sure you can fully relax into each pose.
